Years have passed. Lori Berenson with the necessary distance that passage of time gives, she makes a thoughtful and serene judgment of her participation in MRTA and of her passage through different peruvian prisons and now current condition of mother.

Through a number of answers Lory tells us the aggressiveness received from the peruvian press, and the image produced from it. But by no means she stopped believing in the solidarity of the human beings and the kindness of the people..

She also told us the horrible prison conditions suffered in the many prisons where she was locked, and told us of her deep conviction that revenge and hatred only lead to lower and degrade the human condition; and that to achieve a true welfare society we must move away from these low feelings.
