She is a Syrian filmmaker who lives in the Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan. His short film “Children” (2015) won numerous awards at various film festivals. She recently produced a shortfilm for the Thomson Reuters Association and completed a 360 film. Her first feature film, “Only the sea between us”, supported by the Sundance Institute and Creative Capital, had its worldpremiere at Hot Docs 2021.
